Your learning progress stays on your device. We do not run user accounts and we do not operate a server that receives your data. The app does show ads, and the Google AdMob advertising SDK collects an advertising identifier for that purpose — that is the only data leaving your device, and it is described in full below.
The app displays banner and interstitial ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, the AdMob SDK may collect and process:
This processing is performed by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's Privacy & Terms. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows a Google-certified consent message (UMP) before personalised ads are served, and you can change your choice later from that same message.
The app requests the microphone permission so you can record yourself shadowing a dialogue and play your own recording back for comparison. Recordings are written to the app's private temporary storage on your device. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared, and they are removed when you record again or uninstall the app. No speech recognition or server-side processing is performed on them. The permission is only requested at the moment you first press record, and the rest of the app works without it.
Your learning progress (completed episodes, flashcard know/don't-know marks, XP, streaks, and app preferences such as your interface language) is stored only on your device using local app storage. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
All learning content (dialogues, audio, vocabulary, Hangul lessons) is bundled with the app and available offline. The app itself does not transmit your learning data to any server. The only network traffic the app generates is the ad requests described under Advertising above.
This app is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children, and ad content is limited to a Teen (T) maximum content rating. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will assist with removing any associated advertising identifier.
If our data practices change, this policy will be updated here before the change ships.
